How does LoceX work?

When mounted the toolinterface breaks of at a certain torque and leaves only the sleeve of the nut.
In the example below a Locex Nut is mounted on a drivinglight .

The unique ability with the Locex Nut is that after monting the nut is protected by a sleeve, the sleeve is not in direct contact with the fastening part of the nut. when attempting removal the sleeve just rotates and has no contact with the fastening part.
Attempts to "squeeze" the sleeve with a pipewrench is futile ,the sleeve is manufactured out of High grade Aluminium (7075 aluminium), even if you are able to deform the sleeve the friction that is attained between the 2 anodized surfaces isnt enough to loosen the inner fastening nut
LoceX has its threads pre coated with Loctite® which is activated when mounted.
the Loctite® starts to harden approximately 15 minutes after mounting at +20 degrees and reaches full strength after 24 hours, at colder temperatures the hardening process is delayed.

Tips:to secure the lights even more use a Locex nut when you mount the lightholder.

Keep in mind that Locex is even easier to aftermount!!!!
